We spent the day running errands, getting groceries and what-not. I caught up on this weeks’ episode of Criminal Minds. I love that show. Man, if there’s one job in this world I think I would love, it’s that one – being a criminal profiler. I love to “read” people, and catching bad guys that way seems so awesome to me. Not sure if I could handle the pressure though, and I’d probably get sick looking at the grisly pictures the first few times, but you learn to overcome that, right? I will never know, because I’m sure I’m past the FBI’s age range.
I’ve been reading one of Stephen King’s books – mostly for research. I figured that if this is the genre my husband wants to write in, I should know something about it, and who better to go to than the one most associated with it? And yes, this is the first time in my life that I’ve read Stephen King. Darc found a compilation book, a collection of a bunch of King’s short stories and I’ve been chewing through that. I’ve actually liked a couple of them, but I can safely say that I’m not really a horror “fan.” Darc says of course I am, because I’m married to a horror writer, so there you go. He also mocks me for loving the Sherlock Holmes stories.
I plan on spending the day catching up on some blogs, and the comments people have left on my own blog, as well as some email. Then there’s the dishes – the never-ending dishes. But hey, I got easy-peasy stuff for dinner tonight so I won’t have to do a lot of clean up later. See, it pays to plan ahead!
Send me a tweet, I’ll be around this afternoon, and if I don’t catch you, have a great weekend!
