I am in a mood. A Bryan Adams – “I just wanna be your underwear” sort of mood. That kind of a mood requires a certain kind of shoe. So with our unlimited Tootsies funds, and the Tootsies grace that never permits one to fall when wearing heels, here’s what I’ve found to go with one of my favorite songs ever.
I love the height on these! Man, I’d feel almost like an average-height person if I was wearing these. And sparkly – you can’t beat sparkly.
Did I say sparkly? And sparkly sexy to boot. Plus, I love the little decorative heel.
Hot pink and shiny.
Who can resist the sexy tie-straps and the Cinderella glass slipper appeal of these? Not me!

I can’t believe I’ve lived to see the day when a person could reference Bryan Adams’ I Wanna Be Your Underwear, the only song in existance that caused me to call a radio station to complain on the sheer suckyness of the song.
Eh, you haven’t been around long enough, I’ve referenced it before.
It is an AWESOME song.

This is probably the first time I’ve ever seen you reference the song. I would have left a similar comment.
Wait a minute, you like that song. Eeeeewwwww!
You’ll like it more when you find someone you feel that way about.

And on the topic of the shoes, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen many of these in movies that, well, you know, are for mommies and daddies who love each other very much. Definitely that last pair.
“Mommies and daddies who love each other very much.” How awesomely classy of you to say it that way.

That’s how Homer described the genre to Bart.
And that’s how you said it here, Homer didn’t, so I credit you.

Not only do I see a cast for my broken ankle in those I am seeing a neck brace also! LoL
Nono, did you miss the part at the top about Tootsies grace, that won’t permit anyone to fall?

I wonder if you could drive in those things???
Sure you could! I’ve done it, you can too!
November 3, 2009 at 11:26 am
Ummm….*blush*….I don’t think they are for driving.
LOL I won’t repeat the dirty thought I’m thinking!

ROFL!! I would type something witty in response but I’m having a hard time seeing the keyboard with this giant heel hanging out of my mouth

I LOVE THESE!!!! Of course hopefully by now you have seen my boots I wore last week for Halloween. To answer Calliospen, yes they are remarkably easy to drive and walk in. As long as you stay on flat surfaces. No jaunts across the lawn, but a nice walk down the sidewalk. My tallest heels give me 9 inches in height and are super easy and fun to wear. Love the post Falcon!
Hoped you would! I did see your boots – those are super cool!
You hit it spot on – as long as you stay on flat surfaces, it’s not a problem at all. Gravel is a no-no, but then, who wants to walk on gravel, even in gym shoes?

NINE INCHES???
I bow to your grace, Elizabeth!!!! There is no way, no way, NO WAY I could ever pull that off. NEVER.

LOL You would be surprised how easy they are to walk in. If you want a funny visual, my husband thought the same way. He has really bad ankles. But one day he put on my big gogo/stripper boots, just to see. Found that they are amazingly easy to be in. Now understand, my boots weigh 8 pounds together. But as long as you are just walking on flat ground, it’s super easy.

ROFL – now I want to put my hubby in stripper boots! I’m like Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies when I attempt high heels. Not exactly sexy but completely entertaining!

It does take practice, the thinner the heel, the harder to walk. Key is to get a thick heel and you have more to balance on. But yeah, he did look kinda funny in my boots, but I was sworn no pictures … he didn’t say I couldn’t tell anyone thought.

Don’t forget, the guys in KISS wore 8″ boots for years and ran around all over the stage. When it’s a platform, then the ball of the foot is closer to the heel of the foot, and it’s no more difficult than wearing a low heeled shoe, you’re just higher up when you do it.
And yes, the thicker the heel, the easier it is. Stilettos, with that tiny heel, require a bit more balance.

I so want to go shopping for a new pair now! LOL I loved KISS and they are awesome in concert. Amazing to see them running around like they do and not trip or fall over a cord on the ground, but they do a damn good job.
I used to be a huge fan of KISS. At one time, I had every album between their first one and Dynasty, including all the solo albums. Never saw them in concert though, but I have heard they put on a great show.

I’m staying clear of this one!
Oh c’mon! As a man, surely you have things that go through your mind when you see a certain type of feminine shoe? Men have thoughts on these things – I know because my husband tells me all the time.
November 3, 2009 at 1:56 pm
You do love your Bryan Adams.
I do.
Those pink ones are for me!
Aren’t they cool? All shiny like colored chrome. You sexy thang you!

Sorry, even with magical grace, I’d still fall on my face in any of those shoes.
LOL That’s why it’s magical grace – because here those things can’t happen.
