Tuesday Tootsies

In case you didn’t know, this is National Ice Cream Month, it’s also National Ice Cream Week, and this coming Sunday is National Ice Cream Day.  So, in honor of that, I put together a little ice cream spread, just for you.  🙂

I love the idea of the heel as a sugar cone.  Too cute!  🙂

Okay, now these just look delicious.  Hot fudge sundaes with chocolate mint ice cream!  Mmmm!  Complete with a cherry on top.  😀

Have a wonderful ice creamy day and weekend.  Don’t forget to treat your feet to something special too.  🙂

Forget ice cream. I just heard of something better.
There’s a restaurant chain in the southern United States called Zaxby’s. They’ve got this new thing called the birthday cake milkshake. I don’t know how they managed to milkshake a birthday, but I don’t really care. I just really want to try one.
I swear to God, you Americans, you know how to eat. One of these days I’m going to do that American fast food road trip. It will probably kill me, but I’ll go out with a smile (and probably a fart).

I’ve never heard of Zaxby’s. A cake shake, hmm, sounds interesting. They probably just mix the cake and ice cream together with some milk. You could do that at home too.

    • Burger King has a cupcake shake and it tastes like fake vanilla frosting. It was easily the nastiest thing I’ve ever tried.

I’ve never heard of Zaxby’s, but I’d be a little leery of a birthday cake milkshake. I’m not a fan of frosting.

That does sound kind of nasty. Fake frosting? What’s the point?

Oh but you’re so wrong. I don’t normally like milkshakes that much, but I tried this one out of curiosity (just because it sounded so odd) and I am now hooked. I get one every week and keep the leftovers in the freezer to try to make it last. And the frosting? I don’t think it is ‘fake.’ They pipe it out of a frosting bag (as my husband noticed one night). It has a light consistency for frosting, but not as light as normal whipped cream. And it is the icing that makes it soooo good!!!

You’re talking about the cupcake shake that YellowCat mentioned? Is it more of a buttercream frosting?

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Heather. 🙂

  2. I can’t eat ice cream, but I would settle for some chocolate Toffutti on a waffle cone. Or a soyshake. Mmmm…. soy.

LOL You’re the only person I know who’s EVER combined “mmm” with “soy.” You are definitely in a class by yourself, Spark. 😀

Oh me too! There is no such thing as too much ice cream. 😀

  4. I can’t imagine wearing either of those shoes. They are too silly.

Well of course they are! That’s the point! 😉

  5. Good thing I missed this blog post so I missed THE ice cream day. It is my downfall. Vanilla/chocolate swirl …swoon!

Au contraire, ma ami, it is this coming Sunday. 3rd Sunday in July, so now you have that to look forward to! 😀
