Tuesday Tootsies

I couldn’t decide what kind of shoes to to blog about this week, when my husband asked would I like an omelet since he was making one for himself?  He knows eggs aren’t my favorite, but once in a while I’ll have some, especially if he’s making an omelet.  He is the master at them and they are so delicious.  So, that gave me the idea to blog about food shoes.  :)  I searched through my folder and came up with a handful, kind of a whole meal for you here.  😉

Glorious gumballs!  So colorful, so chewy.  Whet your appetite yet?

A side dish of rice.  Could you please pass the butter and salt?  Maybe some parsley?

Ooh, a ham sandwich with Swiss cheese!  On toasted wheat!  I am SO there.  :)  And it even has lettuce, tomato and onion.  What’s not to love?

Eggplant Parmesan anyone?  One of my favorite dishes.  Also, deep fried breaded eggplant slices, dipped in ranch dressing.  Yum!

And you know spaghetti and meatballs goes great with eggplant parmesan.  :)  We have a great Italian meal here, with a few extras.

I’m starving now!  How about you?  😉

Whoops, just remembered something as I went to set the date for this post …

In honor of the 41st anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission that landed on the moon, Buzz Aldrin’s boot.  🙂

LOL That’s pretty good! Although, it was a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

  2. Moon boots! 😀

Those shoes are very… Odd. I like the ones with sweets for heels.

Hahahaha, moon boots, yup! Literally! 😀

The gumballs look fun, don’t they? 🙂

Okay! You got me with the ham and swiss cheese! I can handle that right about now! 😉

Doesn’t that look tasty good? I see we have similar tastes in sandwiches. Darc says I make the best sandwiches in the whole world. 🙂

  4. Oh wow, I love the gumball shoes! I would totall ywear those. Although I might eat the gum, and then they’d be boring old flats.

It looks for all the world like someone took boring old shoes and glued a bunch of gumballs to them, doesn’t it? Still, they look fun. 🙂

With all those colors, they’d be easy to match with almost anything in the closet. 😀

  5. What is wrong with people?! Who makes these shoes?

LOL Think of them as art, YC, they’re just a weird kind of art, and you know how artists are. 😉

  6. I LOVE the egplant shoes. I want them immediately. I have bad feet but I still buy shoes for which I have a passion anyway.

And shoes are all about the passion, I agree. 🙂

  7. I did not submit my answer and it is gone!

I LOVE the eggplant flats. Classic. They are ‘me” about 20 years ago when I could still handle flats. Loved ballet flats with ankle length tights – big shirt – coolness incorporated. When I lose this weight I will be back at it again.

I found it in the spam folder, of all places. No idea why – it didn’t have too many links, or a weird IP, or anything like that, so just a hiccup on WP’s part I guess, and I apologize.

Don’t give up, you can do it! Remember this – nothing tastes as good as thin feels. 🙂

  8. In grad school a friend of mine was in the library when she felt something weird on her feet. She was wearing sandals. She looked down and saw that this guy was on his stomach holding her feet. He tried to lick them before she screamed.

I hate to think what he’d have done with all these tasty shoes.

EW!! *shudder* I hope she called the cops on that guy! What a weirdo! That’s just so creepy and kind of stalkerish, some crazy guy hunting around under the library tables looking for bare toes to lick. Nasty!
