I really liked this graphic and wanted to share it. 🙂 ~Ness
Thanks. 🙂 I feel a little better about myself after reading this. I’ve been very frustrated with my lack of progress, which I wrote about in my blog:
But this “Take A Break” entry inspires me to keep trying.
I’m so glad, Aruna! Sometimes it’s hard to keep going when you feel like progress is just too far away to bother anymore. Boy, I can so relate to that one, too. But for whatever it’s worth, I’m rooting for you!
Going to read your post now. 🙂
PS – I took the liberty of updating your blog info on your “avatar” thing – I hope that’s okay! It pointed to your old blog and I got an error message when I clicked it. If you want me to change it, please don’t hesitate to tell me.
I found your blog by clicking the link in your comment, so thanks! 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 I saw your comment on my blog, I never saw this reply until now. Maybe I forgot to check “notify me of follow up…”
May I ask how and what you updated on my gravatar, and how you had access?
I’m asking because, I’ve since terminated my old email address and updated my WordPress with the new one. Now when I leave blog comments, they leave a default WordPress gravatar, and link to the deleted blog…which I don’t understand why it’s still there if I deleted it.
I’m really confused with WordPress. I don’t understand why I have dupe blogs and why my comments link to the deleted link instead of the correct one.
You seem to be really knowledge about how WordPress’ system works, and I feel like an idiot. Will you please help me clear this up? Thanks for your help. 🙂
Well, when you leave a comment on someone’s blog, the blog owner gets all the info that you put in, depending on what restrictions they use. I don’t allow anonymous comments and require an email address, so commentors have to input that, which I see and can change if necessary. At some point when you originally left a comment here, you put in that stuff and now it probably does that automatically based on your own computer’s cookies. You could probably change it if you “sign out” before leaving a comment, and then signing back in with your new info – I think! LOL
If you go to gravatar.com. you probably have an account there that’s linked to your WP account, and you can edit your settings there with new email and blog info. 🙂
At least, I think that’s how it all works! You’re not an idiot! It’s kind of confusing. I used to just sit and go through the WP forums trying to learn stuff. I still don’t know 10% of the stuff there is to know!
I hope that helps. 🙂
Oh, and thank you for tolerating my shameless plug, and for reading my blog. I enjoy yours, too. 🙂
Hey, that’s the whole point of blogging, right? Shameless plugging! LOL 🙂 Thanks sweetie! I hope you’ve had a great New Year’s so far!
This is excellent advice. I personally can’t stand to sit still for very long, or stare continuously at a computer screen. I don’t understand how anyone does it.
I can sit still for long periods – the phrase “bump on a log” was actually coined to describe me, lol. But it was a good reminder for me too. I must get up and get that housework done before lividity sets in!
